Can you deliver and is there a charge?
Yes. We offer delivery.

• Order from Cresco Xpress (homeowners and contractors) and the base price is $65.00 each way.
  Delivery charges will vary depending on the size of the equipment and the distance of the requested order.

• Order from Cresco Equipment Rentals (contractors and commercial) and the base price is $75.00 each way.
  Delivery charges vary depending on the size of the equipment and distance of the requested order.

Do you set up scaffolding?
Cresco does not offer scaffold setup or break down service.

Do you fill propane tanks?
Yes. We do offer propane fill service. We also sell new tanks and other propane accessories.

Cresco Equipment Rentals (contractors and commercial) are open:
Monday though Friday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm

Most Cresco Xpress stores (homeowners and contractors) are open:
Monday though Friday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
                       Saturday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
                       Sunday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Do you have used equipment for sale?
Yes. We sell most of the equipment and tools we rent. Prices differ depending on year, make, model, and condition of the unit. Please call your local Cresco for details or check out the Used Equipment link on our website.

What is the minimum rental period?
A typical "day" rental period is 24 hours. Some items have 3 or 4 hour minimums at reduced rates.

Will your crew help load equipment into my vehicle?
We are happy to help load equipment into your vehicle.

Do you have an “equipment protection plan” and what does it cover?
Yes, we do. The "equipment protection plan" limits customers' liability for accidental physical damage to rental equipment with certain exceptions. A detailed explanation and limitations are available at all Cresco stores.

What form of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and cash. Business and personal checks are accepted for certain items and must be guaranteed by our third party check guarantee service at time of rental.

Why did my credit/check card get charged a deposit but not a credit?
We charge an up front deposit on your credit/check card at the start of the rental and credit back the balance at the termination of the rental. We give an instant credit, but banks can be slow in crediting your account.

Why are certain items available in some stores and not others?
Some items are store or region-specific and not available at all locations. Call your local Cresco to locate the closest store carrying the specific items you need. In many cases, we can have the equipment or tools delivered to your closest Cresco location.

Is Cresco a national company or locally owned?
Cresco is a locally owned and operated company serving the greater Bay Area in Northern California.

Do you give out referrals for contractors who can help me get the job done?
Each store has a list of contractors that they deal with regularly and will refer you. Cresco has no affiliation with referrals. It is the customer’s responsibility to hire with due diligence.

What do I do if the equipment breaks down?
If the equipment you rent breaks down, call your local Cresco and ask for guidance immediately. An 800 telephone number for emergency breakdown situations is given to you when you pick up the equipment.

Do you rent small tools?
Yes. Our Cresco Xpress stores specialize in smaller tools rentals, while Cresco Equipment Rentals caters to industrial demands for big equipment, such as backhoes, excavators, etc.

What kinds of fuel do you use?
We use red diesel, regular diesel, unleaded, mix 50:1 or 25:1.

Once I’ve called and asked for an off rent “rental equipment pick-up”, will I be charged for the time up until you pick it up?
No. Once you have called the equipment off rent, you will no longer be charged! It is still your responsibility to securely store the equipment for a reasonable period of time until Cresco can pick it up.
