Cresco University was established in January 2005 as the Training Facility for Cresco Equipment Rentals. Our building in Livermore, CA is a state of the art, high-tech classroom and offices for our training staff. One side of the classroom has computer work stations that are used for in-house system training. Internet access is available for on-line training from our suppliers and vendors. Training on various Windows applications is also offered. The other side of the classroom is set up as a conference room with round tables and comfortable chairs to accommodate groups. Overhead projection units, retractable screens, and large White Boards complete the room.
We offer our employees many different opportunities for training and education at Cresco University. New employee orientation, Safety training, Product training for our Salespeople, Sales technique training, Customer Service training, Personal Management training, and Equipment Service Schools for our mechanics are just a few classes that we provide. We, also, offer OSHA approved operator safety training on Aerial Work Platforms and Material Handling equipment to our customers for a fee.
Our Driver Trainer/Mentor works with our equipment delivery drivers and is based at Cresco University. He rides with our new drivers helping them learn best ways to handle the equipment, paperwork, and the job.
